Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Over 500 doctors from all regions of Uzbekistan have attracted the National Chamber of Innovative Healthcare to improve their skills at international courses in laparoscopic surgery. Turkish medicine specialists presented their experience at the webinar.
Today, the demand for surgeons who know the method of laparoscopy is growing every day. After all, if for any traditional surgical operation it is necessary to make an incision, then with a laparoscopic one - only a puncture of only 1 cm. In addition to the cosmetic effect, this provides a reduction in the duration of the operation, a faster recovery of the patient. Of course, subject to the high professionalism of the surgeon.
Taking into account the possibilities of online trainings, the National Chamber through its territorial divisions in each region of Uzbekistan tried to attract the maximum number of practitioners interested in conducting laparoscopic operations for patients in the regions of the country. At the same time, each applicant for participation in the training was given information about his program, topics raised by the speakers, the possibility of analyzing real operations that are demonstrated during the training. Each interested physician received a link to individually register their participation. Taking into account the specification of the training, the number of participants included surgeons, including abdominal, obstetricians-gynecologists, urologists.
The leader in the number of participants in the training was the Andijan region, from which 140 doctors and Kashkadarya - 100 specialists took part.
During a practical webinar, the possibilities of laparoscopic surgery for appendicitis, hernias, urological and other indications were considered.
Of course, the main thing that this training gave for medical specialists, as well as their patients, is the growth of professionalism and modern international experience in such a field as laparoscopic surgery. It is also important that the passage of international training enables doctors to offset the hours spent on their professional training. This is an important part of the credit-modular system for licensing doctors, which is gradually being introduced in Uzbekistan.
In this regard, the National Chamber has adopted and is implementing the Regional Health Support Program, of which this training is part. The main focus of this Program is to attract healthcare professionals working in the country's regions to a variety of professional growth opportunities. The efforts of the leadership of Uzbekistan in the field of healthcare are aimed at increasing the quality of medicine throughout the country. And the active response of doctors from different regions of the country shows that this is an absolutely demanded direction. The plans of the National Chamber include the implementation of the Regional Health Support Program in a variety of areas, which will help to reach as many doctors as possible, introduce them to the best international experience, and provide practical skills for mastering modern methods.
Only specialized specialists who filled in the appropriate registration form could take part in the seminar. In this regard, the registered listeners not only participated with interest, but also actively asked questions, speaking the same professional language with the speakers.
Each participant from Uzbekistan will receive a certificate from the organizers from the Turkish side and the National Chamber of Innovative Health.

In addition to doctors of Uzbekistan, representatives of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan took part in the international. In general, about 1,300 healthcare professionals were trained, where Uzbekistan was the leader in the number of participants, the press service of the National Chamber of Innovative Healthcare of the Republic of Uzbekistan reports.
