Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Digital medicine, treatment in Japan, exchange of experience and other issues were discussed by representatives of the National Chamber of Innovative Healthcare of Uzbekistan and JICA Representative Office in the country.
Japan, as a country known for its digital projects, including in medicine, can help introduce ready-made Japanese developments in Uzbekistan and implement joint projects. The National Chamber and the Ministry of Health are already developing clinical protocols. They will make it possible to unify the diagnosis and treatment of patients and to reduce the cases of prescribing a large number of drugs.
“The healthcare system is one of the main sectors of the country”, said Suguru Miyazaki, Chief Representative of JICA Uzbekistan Office. – Diagnosis and treatment of patients should be based on evidence-based medicine.
The parties noted the commonality of approaches to improving medical care in Uzbekistan.
JICA has been helping to equip medical institutions in the regions of Uzbekistan with modern equipment. This is carried out within the framework of the Grant Aid Program from the Japanese Government.
The sides agreed to discuss measures, the implementation of which can increase the level of medical care for Uzbekistan population.
