Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 4 October, a meeting was held between the leadership of the National Agency for Project Management under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Center for Project Management of Electronic Government and Digital Economy and the delegation of Azerbaijan, headed by Ulvi Mehdiyev, chairman of the State Agency for the provision of services to citizens and social innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Representatives of the Azerbaijani delegation presented their experience in the creation and development of e-government in the country, outlined the goals that needed to be achieved and the solutions found, as well as the current direction of development.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the digitalization features of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, outlined ways for mutually beneficial cooperation, the possibility of exchanging experience in the digital economy and further prospects for cooperation in the field of information technology.
During a lively conversation, the parties discussed pressing issues of development of the e-government sphere, outlined the common ground for cooperation in this area.
A memorandum on cooperation in the field of e-government was signed at the meeting between the E-Government and Digital Economy Project Management Center and the Azerbaijan Innovation Export Consortium Azinnex.
Azinnex Consortium was created by 10 leading Azerbaijani companies specializing in innovation. Having successfully implemented more than 500 electronic services, the consortium exports its services to more than 30 countries of the world.
