Namangan State Institute of Foreign Languages named after Iskhokhon Ibrat established

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- By the Resolution of the President, the Namangan State Institute of Foreign Languages named after Iskhokhon Ibrat was established.

In accordance with the Resolution, the Institute is a state university with the status of a legal entity.

The educational process at the Institute will begin in the 2022/2023 academic year.

Starting from the 2023/2024 academic year, a professional (creative) exam is held in the entrance exams for undergraduate education at the Institute of Foreign Languages, aimed at assessing 4 skills (listening and understanding, reading, writing and speaking). Wherein:

a professional (creative) exam in a foreign language is conducted by the STC;

applicants who have a national or internationally recognized certificate of level B2 and higher in a foreign language, in the entrance exams in this subject, the maximum score is awarded without a professional (creative) exam.

The Institute introduces the practice of awarding qualifications to students in two foreign languages.

Teachers of the Institute who teach classes in specialty subjects in a foreign language and have a national or corresponding internationally recognized certificate of at least C1 level are paid an additional monthly allowance of 50 percent to their base salary.

Starting from the 2023/2024 academic year, teachers of foreign languages of the Institute will have a national or corresponding internationally recognized certificate of at least C1 level, and from the 2024/2025 academic year, teachers of the Institute in specialty subjects (except for a foreign language) will have this certificate level not lower than B2.

The Institute is allowed to compensate the rent for housing of the faculty attracted from other regions.
