Namangan Launches Namangan China Town Project

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Negotiations were held in the town of Yangi Namangan, Davlatabad district, dedicated to the construction of a major international project — Namangan China Town, which will be implemented in the Namangan region.

The meeting was attended by the regional governor, Shavkatjon Abdurazzakov, and a delegation led by Yan Bo, member of the Jiangsu Provincial Consultative Council of the People's Republic of China and president of Jiangsu Tonke Real Estate Co., Ltd.

The parties discussed in detail the architectural concepts, infrastructure, and upcoming stages of construction. Special attention was given to expediting construction works, as well as to engineering and organizational issues.

The project covers an area of 84 hectares, with plans for future expansion in coordination with adjacent urban facilities to nearly 1,084 hectares. It envisions the construction of over 500 commercial and office buildings, a hotel, schools, kindergartens, sports complexes, and 24-hour service centers.

The new district will serve not only as a commercial and business hub but also as a modern residential complex, offering comfortable conditions for living, working, and recreation.

During the meeting, a number of organizational issues were promptly resolved. According to the agreements reached, the groundbreaking ceremony and the official launch of construction are scheduled for November.

The Namangan China Town project will become a new symbol of modern urban development, international cooperation, and economic growth, marking another milestone in the partnership between Uzbekistan and China.
