Namangan and Chelyabinsk region sign cooperation memorandum

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Governor of Namagan region of Uzbekistan Hayrullo Bozarov and Governor of Chelyabinsk region Boris Dubrovsky signed a memorandum of comprehensive cooperation.

The sides plan to develop bilateral relations and increase export-import relations between Uzbekistan and Russia.

Boris Dubrovsky said South Ural has close relations with Uzbekistan. Chelyabinsk regions pays great attention to development of cooperation at regional level.

He said that the Chelyabinsk region will do its best to increase the export flow to Uzbekistan in an equal way, and the region is ready to offer a number of new directions for cooperation.

Dubrovsky expressed hisconfidence that the signing of the memorandum between the regions will give an opportunity to implement specific projects at the interregional level

Hayrullo Bozarov said that as part of the forthcoming visit of the President Uzbekistan to the Russian Federation in April 2017, the meeting has the strategic meeting. The development of bilateral relations will allow establishing long-term reliable ties between the territories and will enable to increase export-import relations and comprehensive cooperation, he said.

Boris Dubrovsky and Hayrullo Bozarov examined the prospects for the development of economic and humanitarian ties, tourism, medicine, culture and education, which can become additional connecting threads between the regions.

It is expected that the delegation of Chelyabinsk region will visit Uzbekistan in October 2017.the delegation will include officials, businesses and creative groups.
