Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - On 5 January 2022, the Chairman of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, Mufti Nuriddin Kholiknazarov signed an agreement with the head of the partner company Abu Sarhad in Saudi Arabia Abusarhad Nasir Abdullah on holding the Umrah 2022 season.
It is noted that in order to organize pilgrimages at a high level, the partner company Abu Sarhad will work to create favorable conditions for pilgrims in Medina and Mecca, in terms of: choosing hotels near the two Haram mosque, reshaping the lists, scheduling flights, conducting medical examinations of pilgrims , as well as improving the organization of transportation, according to the press service of the department.
“These days, due to some misinformation from unofficial sources, citizens have taken invalid routes. We urge Muslims to be very careful in matters of worship, such as umrah, and to take a blessed journey through the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, which is an authorized organization in this regard,” the statement reads.
It is emphasized that the start date of trips to Umra and the time of the organization of the first flight will be announced later.
