Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has appointed a new khokim of Kashkadarya region.

According to the decree of the head of Uzbekistan, Zoir Mirzaev was dismissed from the post of khokim of Kashkadarya region in connection with the transfer to another job.

Murotjon Azimov has been appointed as acting khokim of Kashkadarya region. Prior to that, Murotjon Azimov headed the State Customs Committee of Uzbekistan.
