Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan has appointed a new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the country to Japan. This was reported by the Yangi Uzbekistan newspaper.

In accordance with the decision of the Kengash of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Mukhsinkhuj Abdurakhmonov headed the diplomatic mission of Uzbekistan in Tokyo.

Prior to this appointment, Mukhsinkhuja Abdurakhmonov worked as the head of the department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.
