Mudflow are expected in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 9 to 11 May, heavy rains will pass in Uzbekistan, mudflows and floods are expected.

It is also expected that the wind speed will increase to 15-20 m/s, in the north and the desert zone - up to 22-25 m/s, in some areas it is possible with dusty snow. Heavy rains with increased winds are also expected in Tashkent.

On 8 May, humid and relatively cool air from the Caucasus regions will be carried out to the northern regions of Uzbekistan, and on 9-11 May, throughout the entire territory of the republic.

On 8 May, in Karakalpakstan, Khorezm region, on 9-11 May, short-term rains will pass in places across the republic, thunderstorms are possible:

On 9 May, in Karakalpakstan, Khorezm, Bukhara, Navoi regions;

On 10 May, in Bukhara, Navoi regions;

On 10-11 May, heavy rain is possible in places in Tashkent, Samarkand, Jizzakh, Syrdarya, Kashkadarya, Surkhandarya regions and regions of the Ferghana Valley.

On 8-10 May, in places across the republic, the wind is expected to increase to 15-20 m/s, in the north and the desert zone up to 22-25 m/s, in some areas it is possible with dusty snow.

On 10-11 May, the daily air temperature will drop to 20-25°.
