MTS-Uzbekistan serves over 5.73m subscribers

Number of MTS-Uzbekistan subscribers increased by 1.6% in January 2009, Mobile TeleSystems OJSC (MTS), the largest mobile phone operator in Russia and the CIS, said.
Subscribers’ base of MTS-Uzbekistan rose from 5.65 million in December 2008 to 5.73 million in January 2009.
MTS-Uzbekistan is the largest mobile operator of Uzbekistan in terms of subscribers’ base.
