MTS-Uzbekistan attracts 280,000 subscribers in April

Russia’s Mobile TeleSystems OJSC (MTS) owns 100% share in MTS-Uzbekistan, which worked under Uzdunrobita brand earlier.

The Russian company said it Uzbek subsidiary serves over 3.84 million subscribers as of 30 April 2008. The growth made up 7.9% in April 2008 compared to March 2008.
