MPs discuss creation of jobs in Uzbekistan

Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan hosted a roundtable dedicated to the execution of the programme on organization of new jobs and ensuring employment of population, which was attended by representatives of regular commissions of territorial Councils of People’s Deputies on social-cultural development, the press service of lower house of the parliament said.

It was underlined that active measures are implemented in labour market of Uzbekistan to ensure social protection of population.

The participants underlined role of strengthening of MPs and regular commission at territorial Council in ensuring execution of the law “On employment of population”, programme of organization of new jobs and ensuring employment for 2015 and other relate legal acts.

The actual tasks such as regular hearing of reports of state and non-state organizations on execution of employment programme and submission of recommendation on improvement of these issues at the territorial Councils were also considered.

The event participants discussed proposals and recommendations on strengthening activities of local Councils of People’s Deputies on implementation of the law “On employment of population” and other corresponding legislative acts.
