The programme on creation of jobs and employment of population for 2014 was developed and submitted to the Legislative Chamber by the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan.
The programme is aimed at implementation of measures on employment of population through use of potential of territories and industries of economy, reforming economy, etc.
It is planned to create 983,600 new jobs in Uzbekistan in 2014. The special attention will be paid to employment of graduates of education institutes, women, people with disabilities and other layers of population, who need social support.
The programme stipulates that 500,000 graduates of the professional colleges will be employed in 2014.
The programme was developed based on industrial programmes on modernization and technical re-equipment of the production capacities, training social vulnerable layers of population, increasing localization of production, developing transport and communication construction, social and market infrastructure, etc.
MPs underlined that it is necessary to raise responsibility of local bodies on execution of the programme on creation of jobs and employment of population.
