MPs approve changes to law “On professional unions, rights and guarantees of their activities”

It was noted that the law, which was adopted in 1992, helped to development of trade unions in Uzbekistan, protection of rights of labour, social-economic rights and interest of employees.

MPs underlined that proposed changes will serve as guarantee for free operation of the professional unions and will help create necessary framework to further develop trust unions.

After the discussions, the MPs passed the law.
