Movement of vehicles via Qamchiq pass suspended

According to the ministry, two snow avalanches occurred at two areas of A-373 automobile road (Tashkent-Osh) on 3 February.

Ministry of Emergency Situations and Uzavtoyul conducted necessary measures to clean snow from the roads. The ministry there is no causalities or damages.

Due to threat of new avalanches in other areas of the A-373 road, the movement of vehicles was suspended on 3 February.

Necessary conditions on accepting passengers and drivers were created in Akhangaran and Angren cities of Tashkent region and Pap district of Namangan region. They are provided with hot food, water and rest places.
