Movement of transport to be limited in some Tashkent streets

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ministry of Interior Affairs of Uzbekistan published a list of the Tashkent streets, on which movement of vehicles will be temporarily limited on 23-24 June 2016.

Temporary limit will be introduced in line with the organization of Tashkent summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).

The ministry said that movement will be limited in following streets:

  • Qori Niyoziy street in the area from Niyozbek Yoli street to Abdulla Qodiriy street;
  • Abdulla Qodiriy street in the area from Abai street to Movaraunnahr street;
  • Osiyo street in the area from Zulfiyahanum street to Amir Temur Street;
  • Small automobile ring road in the area from Amir Temur street to Kurgazma street;
  • Shastri street in the area of Ozbekiston Ovozi street to Mustaqillik street;
  • Yahya Gulyamanova street in the area of Ozbekiston Ovozi street to Oloy street;
  • Shakhrisabz street in the area of Amir Temur street to Istiqbol street;
  • Amir Temur street in the area from Osiyo street to Shakhrisabz street;
  • Oloy street in the area from Yahya Gulyamanova street to Shakhrisabz street;
  • Ozbekiston Ovozi street in the area from Yahya Gulyamanova street to Shakhrisabz street;
  • Taraqqiyot street in the area from small automobile ring road to Shakhrisabz street;
  • Istiqbol street in the area from Shakhrisabz street to Amir Temur street;
  • Ozbekiston Ovozi street in the area from Taras Shevchenko street to Amir Temur street;
  • Shohjahon street in the area from Askiya street to Babur street;
  • Rakat street in the area from Askiya street to Babur street;
  • Urikzor street in the area from Askiya street to Babur street;

In the period of organization of the events, movement of vehicles may be limited in Nukus, Mustaqillik, Mirzo Ulugbek and Damon Yoli streets.

The Uzbek Ministry called the participants of road traffic do not load transport flows on these streets without necessity and recommended to use public transport.

The Ministry expressed apologies for inconvenience, created in connection with ensuring security in these streets.
