More than 60,000 Uzbeks Visited Egypt

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From January to November 2025, a total of 60,979 Uzbek citizens traveled to Egypt for tourism, according to the National Statistical Committee.

Compared to the same period last year, this represents an increase of 19,700 travelers, or growth of 47.7%.

The majority of Uzbek tourists visited Egypt for leisure purposes, accounting for 55,090 trips. Other reasons for travel included visiting relatives (5,679 people), medical treatment (172), studies (20), and business trips (18).
