Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At the next plenary meeting of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, the Law "On Amendments and Additions to Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with the creation of more favorable conditions for going to court and the introduction of a simplified procedure in civil proceedings".

It should be noted that as a result of the reforms, modern information and communication technologies have become more widespread in judicial activity. Thanks to the amenities created, the level of citizens' access to justice has significantly increased dramatically. Modern information and communication technologies, introduced into judicial activity, contribute to the growth of the country's prestige in international rankings and improve its position.

Today, despite the introduction of the E-XSUD information system in the judicial system using the capabilities of modern information technologies, it is necessary to clearly define legal norms providing for the further regulation of laws and by-laws, including a new organization of the system for working with appeals of individuals and legal entities.

The law introduces a number of amendments and additions to 5 codes, that is, to the Criminal Procedure Code, the Civil Procedure Code, the Economic Procedure Code, the Administrative Responsibility Code and the Administrative Procedure Code.

In particular, in connection with the creation of the possibility of obtaining judicial documents by the judge by the case number through the information system "E-XSUD", the rules on the need to attach copies of judicial acts certified by the court, which are provided for the content of appeals and cassation complaints and the grounds for their return, are excluded.

Introduced into the Economic Procedure Code and giving today a positive result, that is, the institution of simplified proceedings is also included in the Civil Procedure Code.

The adoption of the Law will further increase the confidence of individuals and legal entities in justice, and save their unnecessary costs.

It also contributes to the reduction of bureaucratic barriers and the introduction of modern management principles in the activities of state bodies and organizations. At the same time, it will fill some gaps in legislation and increase the country's prestige in international rankings.

The law was approved by the senators.
