Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Lists of various sanitary and hygienic products that parents and teachers need to purchase in order to organize the educational process in schools in a pandemic are being distributed on social networks.

In this regard, the Ministry of Public Education reports the following:

These issues were raised at a video conference on preparation for the academic year in educational institutions, which was chaired by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. During the meeting, the President instructed the responsible ministries to purchase pyrometers and dispensers for schools and supply them to the regions. Regional khokimiyats and sponsoring organizations are responsible for providing schools with disinfectants and antiseptics.

Also, according to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On additional measures to improve the public education management system", local authorities are responsible for comprehensive assistance to public education institutions in terms of supporting and developing their infrastructure, including organizing and coordinating all-round assistance to general education institutions in the relevant territory.

In this regard, the Ministry informs that none of the disinfectants used in organizing the educational process in schools is purchased by teachers. Parents will provide their children with only medical masks and antiseptics for their personal hygiene.

All pyrometers, disinfectants and antiseptics for the school will be centrally delivered to schools.

In the event of such situations in schools, the Ministry calls respected teachers to contact the law enforcement agencies.
