Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On the third day of their stay in Paris, the delegation of the Ministry of Pre-school Education (MoPE) held another fruitful meeting. Ms. Audrey Azoulay, Director-General of UNESCO, received the leadership of the ministry at the headquarters of the organization to discuss holding the next World Conference on Early Childhood Care and Education in Tashkent in November this year.
The choice of Uzbekistan as a host country for holding this conference at the ministerial level was fully supported by the leadership of UNESCO. Therefore, the meeting became another occasion to express gratitude and respect to the General Director of this organization.
Audrey Azoulay highly appreciated the contribution of our country to the development of preschool education not only at the country level, but also at the international level. The achievements of our republic in the field of early development are becoming noticeable and are rightfully evaluated by international experts and partners. It is important to note that this would not have been possible without the political will of the country's leadership.
During the meeting, a high assessment was given to the Information session held the day before by the delegation of Uzbekistan for the member countries of UNESCO. This helped generate great interest in the World Conference and set the stage for successful preparations for it.
