Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A single school uniform will not be mandatory from the new academic year. This was stated by the Minister of Public Education Bakhtiyor Saidov.

The Minister of Public Education announced that from September 2022, parents will not be required to purchase a uniform school uniform.

He also added that no demands to wear new uniforms will be made against schoolchildren who come to class without an appropriate uniform.

Sales of school uniforms will start in August. Points will be organized in places convenient for the population and at school fairs in each district and city center.
