Monument of Islam Karimov to be erected in Samarkand

The monument will be installed in Samarkand as Islam Karimov was born and grew up in Samarkand city, UzA reported.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev received information on project on improving Nurafshon street, which links Dahdeb street in Samarkand and Imam Bukhari Complex in Payarik district.

The buildings in street will be repaired in line with modern requirements and several social objects will be constructed.

Familiarizing with the project on reconstruction of Youth Center in Jami street, construction of Zoo, Uzbek President gave orders to take into account opinion of people on implementation of projects.
