Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 12 October, a student of the college of the city of Termez, R. Kamol (name and surname changed), living in the Chegara mahalla, applied to the city police department with a statement. He explained that on 24 September, unidentified persons stole from his home one Artel mobile phone worth 600,000 soums, one Samsung mobile phone worth 500,000 soums and cash in the amount of 500,000 soums.

According to the press service of the Internal Affairs Directorate of Surkhandarya region, as a result of measures taken by employees of the internal affairs bodies, it was established that the theft was committed by a resident of Denau district, Ch.Davron, from whom material evidence was seized.

On 21 October, a criminal case was initiated against Ch.Davron under Part 2 of Article 169 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
