Modern multifield children medical center to be constructed in Tashkent
The project envisages construction and equipment of hospital with high technological medical equipment, training of specialists in South Korean clinics, as well as creation of conditions for treatment of children in line with international standards. The project cost is US$130.582 million.
Economic Development Cooperation Fund (EDCF) of South Korea allocated a loan for US$102.846 million to the project.
The loan will be allocated for 40 years, including 10-year grace period, with an annual interest rate of 0.1%.
Uzbekistan will allocate US$27.72 million to the project, of which US$20.78 million will be tax and customs preferences.
Tashkent city administration was entrusted to connect new medical center to engineering-communication networks.
The specialized multifield children clinic of the fourth level in Tashkent for 280 beds will be designed for 250 visits a day and 1,500 surgeries a year. The construction of the center is planned for 2017.
