Moderate earthquake hits Uzbekistan

A moderate earthquake was registered in Uzbekistan at 16:48 on Sunday, 31 August 2014, according to the seismic station “Tashkent”.
According to the seismic station, the epicenter of earthquake was located at 540 km from Tashkent at Hindu Kush mountains in Afghanistan. The earthquake magnitude was 5.1 at the epicenter.
The power of earthquake in Tashkent was 2.5-3 points, according to the station “Tashkent”.
