Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A Resolution of the President "On additional measures to further reduce state participation in the economy and accelerate privatization" was adopted.
According to the Resolution, from 1 April 2022, free state facilities or lands will be determined by the khokim’s assistants as follows:
- objects with an area of up to 2,000 square meters will be put up directly for an electronic online auction based on the online application of hokim’s assistants;
- an online application for non-agricultural land is sent through the Yerelektron system, considered by the relevant authorities within 3 days, and if a positive conclusion is made, these plots are put up for electronic online auction within two weeks;
Empty objects of ministries, departments, khokimiyats that have not been operated for more than three months are put up for auction for leasing or selling without their consent.
By 1 April 2023, measures will be taken to privatize Universal Mobile Systems LLC.
25 flour mills of Uzdonmahsulot JSC will be put up for auction in stages until 1 July 2022, the rest - in stages until the end of this year.
Until the end of 2022, the state shares of JSCB Uzsanoatkurilishbank and JSCB Asakabank will be put up for auction.
Until 1 July 2023, work will be organized on the public offering on the stock exchange of shares of JSC "Halk Bank", JSCB "Microcreditbank", JSC "Aloqabank", JSCB "Agrobank", JSC "Uzmilliybank".
During privatization, a method of implementation is introduced by publicly inviting applicants to negotiations without announcing the starting price.
The resolution approved a list of 1,501 real estate objects sold through public auctions.
The list also includes the Tashkent City park.
