Mobile users in Uzbekistan reach 7 million

Currently, there are five mobile operators working in Uzbekistan, including MTS-Uzbekistan, Beeline, Coscom, Perfectum Mobile and UzbekTelecom Mobile.

Uzbek mobile operators added 537,590 mobile subscribers in February 2008, which is 8.9% more compared with January 2008. About 6 million people used services of mobile operators in Uzbekistan as of 10 January 2008.
