Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A well-known Uzbek fighter of mixed martial arts (MMA), vice-president of the MMA Association of Uzbekistan Murad Hanturaev died in an accident. This was reported by the press service of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Tashkent region.
The accident happened on 19 July in Bostanlyk district of Tashkent region. The athlete lost control of his personal BMW X5, which flew off the track at high speed. As a result of the accident, Khanturaev died on the spot. He was 34 years old.
As noted by the employees of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of the capital region, the driver of the BMW X5 signaled the Lacetti, who was driving in front, to make way for him. After that, the driver of the BMW X5 went to overtake and touched the rear bumper of the Lacetti. As a result of the maneuver, the driver of the BMW X5 lost control, pulled over to the side of the road and rolled over.
Murad Hanturaev, known as the "Asian Bear", began his professional career in 2013. During this time, he won ten bouts (7 knockouts) and suffered two defeats (both by knockout).
