Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At the twelfth plenary session of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, senators considered the issue of amending the composition of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In accordance with paragraph 2 of Article 80 of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan and paragraph 2 of part one of Article 9 of the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan", a resolution of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis was adopted on the election of Mirzo-Ulugbek Abdusalomov as a judge of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Also, the powers of the judge of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Miralimov, were terminated ahead of schedule.
