Mirziyoyev Meets Head of China International Communication Center

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with Long Yuxiang, Chairman of the China International Communication Center.

The discussion focused on further deepening Uzbekistan–China relations and advancing a comprehensive strategic partnership in the new era, as well as strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties.

The Center’s significant contribution to multifaceted cooperation between the two countries was noted. Joint projects have been implemented in infrastructure development, investment, and green industry, while prospective initiatives in geology and agriculture, valued at over US$1 billion, are under development.

The parties emphasized the importance of continuing active exchanges in education, science, culture, and tourism.

Founded in 1984, the China International Communication Center has established cultural, scientific, and educational ties with more than 160 countries and maintains three overseas offices.
