Mirziyoyev approves agreement on promoting interregional cooperation with Russia

The document was signed in Moscow on 5 April 2017 during the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Russia.

The resolution of the President noted that the agreement is aimed at expanding and developing mutually beneficial cooperation with Russia in trade and economic, scientific, technical, cultural and humanitarian spheres, in the fields of agriculture, health, tourism and the environment, as well as in other areas of mutual interest.

President of Uzbekistan instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to send a notification to the Russian side on implementation by Uzbekistan of the domestic procedures necessary for entry into force of the international treaty.
