Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Ministry of Internal Affairs proposes to introduce a ban on drivers and pedestrians from publishing on the Internet information about their relationship with a traffic police officer, recorded on audio, photo or video, without the permission of the officer who was recorded.
It is proposed to oblige traffic police officers to explain to road users about the inadmissibility of the distribution of multimedia (audio, photo and video) materials without the permission of the traffic police inspector.
With the liberalization of the information field in Uzbekistan, videos are increasingly being posted on social networks in which police officers behave unseemly, or, on the contrary, drivers publish provocative videos.
Since December 2018, drivers are allowed to record their relationship with a traffic police officer on an audio, photo and video device (except when traffic police officers are in the territory where there is a sign prohibiting photography and video filming).
