Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In January this year, 8,601 patients were hospitalized at infectious diseases hospitals in Zangiat, of which 6,856 were elderly people, 811 were pregnant women and 934 were children.

Unfortunately, 8243 of them were not vaccinated against the coronavirus. Only 358 patients, i.e. 4.1 percent of those hospitalized, have previously received vaccines against COVID-19. There were no deaths among them.

On the contrary, in unvaccinated patients, the disease proceeded in severe and extremely severe forms, and in some cases ended in death.

Based on this, the Ministry of Health once again urges compatriots to be more attentive to their health, to receive a vaccine and a booster dose against coronavirus.
