Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Taking into account the stabilization of the epidemiological situation in Tashkent, to ensure the continuity of treatment of patients with suspected coronavirus and suspects and to prevent the dispersal of forces specializing in the fight against infection, the sorting and distribution center in pavilions 3 and 4 at Uzexpocentre of district and in the sports complex Universal was discontinued.

Patients undergoing treatment in these institutions are transferred to infectious diseases hospitals in Zangiota district. Employment contracts with medical personnel working in temporary hospitals will be terminated in due course, and they will be returned to their previous places of work.

It should be noted that currently only 32 out of 159 medical institutions in the country are treating patients with coronavirus due to the relatively low risk of pandemics.
