Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On Saturday, 12 December, the total number of cases of coronavirus in Uzbekistan reached 74,956, during the past day 145 new cases were recorded.

Some 159 people recovered and were discharged from medical institutions (total 72,243 recovered).

According to official data from the Ministry of Health, as of 12 December, there were only 612 deaths from COVID-19.

There are 2,101 patients undergoing treatment, including 177 in serious condition, 33 in extremely serious condition.
