Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A 79-year-old resident of Yunusabad district of Tashkent, has had fever and cough since 19 June, but continued treatment at home, without consulting with doctors.

On 2 July, he first turned to the family clinic. A coronavirus infection sample was taken from a citizen. He was later diagnosed with COVID-19, coronary heart disease, angina pectoris, hypertension and parkinsonism.

Despite ongoing resuscitation procedures, the patient died of acute cardiovascular and respiratory failure.
