Ministry of Foreign Trade hosts meeting with Chairman of Institute of Energy and Economics of Japan

The meeting reviewed the current state and prospects of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries, as well as discussed issues in the field of energy efficiency.

In addition, the Japanese side was informed of ongoing reforms under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyeva, aimed at further liberalization of the economy.

Members of the delegation highly appreciated the initiatives of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev on comprehensive development of economy and created conditions for foreign investors.

Following the meeting, the sides expressed mutual interest in continuing their joint work.
