Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- "We received the news of a strong earthquake in several regions of Turkey with a feeling of deep sorrow, which caused numerous casualties and great destruction," the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
“We express our condolences to the families and friends of the deceased, we wish a speedy recovery to the injured,” the message says.
As of 11:00 a.m. (Tashkent time) On February 6, 2023, the diplomatic missions of our country in Turkey did not receive information about the citizens of Uzbekistan killed and injured as a result of the earthquake.
The Ministry reminded that citizens of Uzbekistan can, if necessary, contact the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Ankara (tel.: +90-312-441-38-71, +90-312-441-17-46) and the Consulate General in Istanbul ( tel.: +90-212-323-20-37, +90-212-323-20-39).
