Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – There were reports in social media that the prices of gas at CNG filling stations.
The Ministry of Energy made a statement on this issue.
According to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. PKM-387 from 14 July 2022, selling prices for products for CNG filling stations were not increased and remained at the same level. This resolution canceled the decisions of the earlier PKM-348 from 30 June 2022.
In this regard, there are no objective reasons for increasing the cost of methane, which is used to refuel vehicles at CNG filling stations.
However, the Ministry of Energy and other state structures do not have the opportunity to influence the pricing policy of CNG filling stations, since CNG filling stations operate in market conditions and form prices themselves depending on supply and demand.
