Ministry of Energy inspects readiness to provide coal to Ferghana region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The readiness of the Altyaryk and Kuva coal warehouses to provide consumers of Ferghana region with coal and coal briquettes in the autumn-winter period 2020-2021 was studied on 10 September by the Special headquarters of the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan.

According to the calculations of the demand, in the autumn-winter period 521 tons of coal and 1726 tons of briquettes will be delivered to public education organizations of Altyaryk district, 261 tons of coal and 832 tons of briquettes directly to preschool institutions of the region, 69 tons of coal and 350 tons of briquettes - to health organizations, 15 tons of coal and 14 tons of briquettes - to sports schools, 60 tons of coal and 20 tons of briquettes - to colleges, 15 tons of coal and 24 tons of briquettes - to organizations of the regional department of culture.

In total, it is planned to deliver 227.7 thousand tons of coal to consumers of the Ferghana region in the coming autumn-winter period, which is 30.7 thousand tons or 16% more than last season, including the population - 160 thousand tons, social organizations - 67.7 thousand tons.

To ensure uninterrupted and high-quality supply of coal to consumers in the region, 10 special coal warehouses, 10 loaders, 6 trucks and 8 auto scales are involved.

During the field meeting, representatives of the Special Staff also visited secondary school No. 26 of Altyaryk district.
