Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Over the past period in 2021, illegal consumption of electricity by a number of economic entities for a total of 9 billion 504 million soums was revealed. This amount is enough to provide 107 thousand households with electricity every month.

These cases of violation were revealed during regular inspections of the Uzenergoinspection under the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan to ensure that enterprises comply with the rules for the use of electricity.

The verification documents were sent to law enforcement agencies to take legislatively established measures.

Control activities of "Uzenergoinspektsiya" continue on a systematic basis.
