Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan commented on an incident with a gas flash in a multi-storey building in Mirabad district of Tashkent.

According to the ministry, the 84-year-old man owns an apartment on Sadiq Azimov Street.

The agency notes that the man forgot to turn off the gas after use. As a result of the accumulation of gas, an outbreak of the gas-air mixture occurred.

The man was injured in the explosion.

Employees of the Khududgaz Poytakht gas supply company arrived at the scene.

This morning there was an outbreak of gas in Tashkent in a multi-storey building. One person was injured in the incident.
