Ministry of Emergency Situations studied the situation of the alleged cruel treatment of stray dogs

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Today, on 11 February, a video was circulated on some social networks in which the author accuses the Ministry of Emergency Situations of allegedly cruel treatment of stray dogs during the capture in the Buka district of the Tashkent region.

The situation has been studied in detail and it should be said that the accusations of the author of the video are unfounded and do not correspond to reality.

Today, within the framework of preventive measures aimed at preventing the spread of "rabies", the source of which are stray dogs, homeless four-legged animals were caught. This event was held in cooperation with representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Health, the Directorate for the Development of Veterinary and Livestock, the Buka District Khokimiat and other services that are part of the State Emergency Service.

The author of the video talks about supposedly bloody dogs, but this video is not reflected anywhere. In addition, in the description under the video, the author suggests that they plan to shoot stray dogs. This assumption is also completely not true. On the contrary, stray dogs were captured for veterinary examination. The dogs will be kept for 5 days in the Department of Improvement, and if during this time no owners of the dogs are found, the animals will be transferred to special shelters, where they will be properly cared for.
