Ministry of Emergency Situations evicts 50 people from stuck ropeway

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan have rescued about 50 people from the stuck ropeway in mountain ski resort of Beldersay in Tashkent region, the Ministry of Emergency Situations said in a statement.

The rescue teams of the Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived in Beldersay and evicted about 50 people, including children, women and elder people, from the stuck ropeway.

The Uzbek ministry said in statement that none of the people on the ropeway were injured.

First Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations Komiljon Aripov led the rescue operation at the Beldersay.
