Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Information about an alleged third rocket attack on the territory of Uzbekistan from Afghanistan has spread on social networks, the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan said in a statement.

The Ministry said that this information is false and completely untrue.

“The state border between Uzbekistan and Afghanistan is fully controlled by Uzbek military personnel, the situation is stable,” the Ministry of Defense said in a statement.

In view of the above, the Ministry of Defense asked citizens to rely only on official sources of information.
