Ministers of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan discuss the prospects for the development of further cooperation in the anti-criminal field

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Within the framework of the Meeting of Ministers of Internal Affairs and Public Security of the SCO Member States in Tashkent, on 18 August, a bilateral meeting was organized between the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Lieutenant-General Pulat Bobojonov and his colleague, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Police Lieutenant General Marat Akhmetjanov.

During the meetings and negotiations, issues of prospects for the development of further cooperation in the anti-criminal sphere, especially in the fight against crimes of a cross-border nature, were discussed.

During the meeting, the need for further expansion of cooperation was noted, taking into account the criminal challenges of the modern world, in particular, crime in the information sphere, terrorism and extremism, illegal migration, drug and arms trafficking, and human trafficking.

The results of the meetings, as well as the proposals of the parties, were fixed in the final protocol.
