Ministers of Agriculture of Uzbekistan and Italy Hold Meeting at FAO Headquarters

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A bilateral meeting took place in Rome at the headquarters of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) between the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ibrokhim Abdurakhmonov, and the Minister of Agriculture of Italy, francesco LolloBrigida.

During the discussion, the parties addressed the expansion of cooperation in the agricultural sector, the implementation of joint investment projects involving Italian companies, as well as the exchange of experience in scientific research and personnel training.

The ministers noted the consistent development of agricultural relations between Uzbekistan and Italy and expressed their readiness to elevate the cooperation to a new level.
