Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 28 February, Minister of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan Elyor Ganiev received the Ambassador of Armenia to Uzbekistan (with residence in Yerevan) Aram Grigoryan.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of expanding cooperation between Uzbekistan and Armenia in the field of transport.

Both sides emphasized the need to intensify joint efforts to improve the performance of low freight and goods turnover between the two countries.

In particular, they discussed the organization of international road transport between the two countries, using the potential of international transport corridors. The parties shared their views on this issue.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to review transport agreements between the two countries in order to bring partnership to a new level and further development.
