Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 2 March this year, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Lieutenant General Pulat Bobozhonov, met with the US Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Uzbekistan, Mr. Daniel Rosenblum.

At the event, the parties exchanged detailed information about the work carried out in our country under the leadership of the Head of State to ensure the interests of the individual, protect his rights and freedoms, convert mahallas to crime-free territories, as well as ongoing reforms in the judicial and legal sphere.

During a constructive dialogue, the parties discussed issues of developing cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of the two states, raising it to a qualitatively new level, establishing exchange programs in the field of protecting public order, combating crime and improving the skills of personnel, as well as other issues of mutual interest.
